Teaching philosophy

Practical, applicable learning

My teaching philosophy centres on equipping learners with tools and frameworks they can use immediately in their work — not just theoretical knowledge. Whether in a formal university setting or an online course, the focus is always on real-world application.

Research methods for clinicians

I place particular emphasis on helping clinicians and non-research-trained healthcare professionals understand the research process end to end — from formulating a question and reviewing evidence, to study design and writing for publication.

Workshops & short courses

I am available for workshops, seminars, and short courses on research methods, implementation science, qualitative research, systematic review methods, and academic manuscript writing. Enquiries from institutions and organisations are welcome.

Postgraduate supervision

I welcome enquiries from prospective Masters and PhD students with interests in implementation science, mental health, digital health, AI in health, and primary care research. Prospective students are encouraged to review my research areas and publication record before getting in touch.

Workshop or supervision enquiries

Available for research methods workshops, academic writing seminars,
and postgraduate supervision in implementation science and related fields.
